The first 3 months of the year are gone! I know, you didn’t notice right because they flew by so fast!
In that whirlwind, how much progress did you make on your 2014 health & fitness goals? You know, those goals that you made way back at the beginning of the year when you promised that you would lose those extra few kilos and start that training program … again …
Are you on track to achieve these long term goals or do they seem even further away?
Sometimes long term goals seem overwhelming but if you divide them up into smaller chunks then they don’t always seem quite so scary.
I help my clients break down their goals into smaller 3 monthly achievements. Every 3 months I have my clients write a letter to themselves detailing what they want to achieve over the next 3 months then together we work towards these mini goals. Ultimately these mini goals lead them closer to their long term goals. As we get closer to the end of the 3 months I remind them of the letter they wrote to themselves and work out what we need to do to get even closer or exceed these mini goals!
It really is a great feeling knowing you are a step closer to achieving the goals that are important to you!
Why don’t you take some time out now and think about what you would like to achieve over the next 3 months .. something that will get you that much closer to your goal. Write yourself a letter and read it regularly to help keep you motivated!
